John and Michelle Overgaag, 36 West Coyote Trail in the Half Moon Subdivision, share a common interest in gardening. Michelle grows the flowers and John grows the vegetables. In the greenhouse he grows tomatoes, cabbage, cucumbers, squash, and asparagus. John also has a large outdoor garden with potatoes and raspberries. Their native soil is amended with aged manure from the chicken coop. Michelle has several beautiful flower gardens with peonies, hosta, columbine, delphinium, Siberian iris, and many other local favorites. Their Nanking cherry bushes produce several five-gallon buckets of delicious cherries each year. Their drip watering system was designed and installed by John to deliver water most efficiently and effectively to all their garden beds.
