Fishing Report 10/2/17

October 3, 2017
Check out this great video that Two Rivers Emporium put together with Guide Mike Kaul this summer highlighting some of our private access streams around our area. The Wyoming Game and Fish have a wonderful program called the Cutt-Slam and this video shows them catching the Colorado Cutthroat Trout, the Native Trout out of the Wyoming Range.

Green River: Flows came up a significant amount the last few weeks due to rain and snow melting, which has increased the options for floating. Banks and runs are looking good with the extra flow, but it has knocked some moss and vegetation loose from the bottom. Fish are looking good headed into the winter months and the browns are geared up for the spawn. PLEASE do not fish our spawning trout!! Do not walk through REDDS (which are areas in the river of cleared gravel)! If you are fishing and start to notice REDDS - stay clear of those areas and focus your attention into the deeper pools!
New Fork: Flows also came up and the river is fishing well. Streamers and Nymphs are working best. Same holds true on the New Fork with the Spawning Trout!!
Stop by the Fly Shop for some great deals and our winter sale starting early this season!
