Flat Half Staff Notice

President Donald Trump has ordered American flags to be lowered to half-staff in honor of the victims of the shooting attack Sunday night, October 1st in Las Vegas, Nevada. A gunman opened fire as singer Jason Aldean performed on stage at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival. The gunman shot at concert-goers from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. The suspect, identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock of Nevada, killed himself with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Reports at this time are at least 58 people dead and 500 wounded. Flags should remain lowered until further notice.

Update 10/2/17 10:00AM: Governor Matthew H. Mead, pursuant to President Donald Trump's Proclamation issued today, has ordered both the U.S. and State of Wyoming flag be flown at half-staff statewide from sunrise until sunset starting immediately until Friday, October 6, 2017 in respect for the victims of the shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada.
