Sublette County Unified Fire needs volunteer firefighters

PINEDALE, WYOMING - Nearly every day volunteer firefighters with Sublette County Unified Fire respond to emergencies to help people who are in need of assistance. From car accidents, to house fires, to technical rescues, to wildland fires, firefighters are there to protect lives and property. It could be your neighbor, friends, or even family members who need help. But what if no one answered the call for help?
In response to the growing need for new volunteer firefighters, Sublette County Unified Fire has initiated a recruitment campaign for interested people to learn how to "answer the call" and serve their community. The fire department needs volunteers of all ages, all backgrounds, and all experience levels. It doesn’t matter where you live in the county, there is a Sublette County Unified Fire battalion near you.
Volunteer firefighters are a special type of people, with many different reasons for answering the call of duty. Some like the challenges and the adrenaline rush, while others like to sharpen their emergency skills and techniques. Every one of them answers the call so that they can help someone in need. There is no better way to look out for your family, neighbors and community, than to be there when someone dials 911 and needs help.
