Cally’s Helping Hands 2017 Volunteer Appreciation Dinner was held on Friday, January 26th in the Lovatt Room of the Pinedale, Library. The event honors outstanding volunteers who have helped local non-profit organizations this past year in Sublette County. Nineteen non-profit organizations submitted names of the people they would like to give special recognition to and honor at the appreciation event.
According to event organizers, Sublette County volunteers donate more than 51,000 hours of time to local non-profit organizations which amounts to approximately 6 years worth of time at a value of over a million dollars.
The event is named in honor of Cally McKee who was known for her generosity and volunteer spirit with many local organizations. She passed away in 2014. Her family members attended the event.
