Notice of a Special Election for the Position of Sublette County Democratic Party State Committeewoman
The election will be held at the regular meeting on Monday, February 19 at 6 pm in the Sublette County Commissioner's Room in the Sublette County Courthouse in Pinedale. Candidates must be women, qualified Democratic voters and reside in the County.
All votes shall be by signed ballot. Eligible voters are Precinct committeemen and women.
What is a State Committeewoman?
State Committeemen and State Committeewomen from each county are voting members and the vital link between the State Central Committee and the County Executive Committees.
Their responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Act as a liaison between the State Executive Committee and the County Executive Committee, by attending State Central Committee meetings
• Assist and cooperate with Party officers and precinct committee people in promoting candidates, meetings, and fundraising events.
• Keep abreast of candidates and political developments in the county.
• Help establish programs and policies for the Sublette County Democratic Party.
