MESA Therapeutic Horsemanship will host their annual Horse Show, BBQ & Barn Dance on Friday, August 3rd at 6:00PM at the Sublette County Fairgrounds, Big Piney. Come watch the MESA riders showcase the riding and horsemanship skills they have learned over the past year.
"MESA riders host a fantastic show every summer," said MESA Executive Director Carla Sullivan. "They work hard practicing their horsemanship skills in the arena, and they work hard earning pledges for their eligibility into the show."
MESA (stands for Mind, Energy, Spirit, Attitude) is a non-profit organization that provides equine-assisted activities and therapies to individuals with a wide range of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges in Sublette County, Wyoming. They strive to promote confidence, self-esteem, physical independence, increased social interaction, improved motor skills and more through horse-related activities and therapies. The organization relies heavily on private donations and grants to support its programs.
The MESA riders will perform drill team exercises set to music. Special motivational speaker Jennifer Adams will speak at the Horse Show.
