Pinedale Mayor Matt Murdock has called a Special Meeting of the Pinedale Town Council to discuss proposed Resolution 2018-15; A resolution authorizing the submission of an application for the Wyoming Business Council Community Enhancement Grant for the "Pinedale Events & Infrastructure Project'". The meeting will be held on August 31, 2018 at 1:30 PM at the Town of Pinedale Public Works conference room located at 61 Pinedale South Road, Pinedale, Wyoming. No other topics will be discussed.
RESOLUTION: 2018 – 15 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE WYOMING BUSINESS COUNCIL COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT GRANT FOR THE "PINEDALE EVENTS & INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT," FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONSTRUCTING A RV SEPTIC DUMP AND WATER FILL STATION AT THE CORNER OF NORTH COLTER AVENUE AND HOBACK STREET AND INSTALLING THE POWER BOX PROJECT AT THE AMERICAN LEGION PARK. WITNESSETH WHEREAS, the governing body for the Town of Pinedale desires to participate in the Wyoming Business Council Community Enhancement Grant to assist in funding this project; WHEREAS, the governing body for the Town of Pinedale recognizes the need for the project and understands how this will benefit the local community, tourism industry, and future events at the American Legion Park; WHEREAS, the governing body for the Town of Pinedale anticipates that this project will result in additional business opportunities for existing and new businesses in Pinedale and result in increased Town water and sewer long term revenues; WHEREAS, the Wyoming Business Council requires that the grant funding criteria be met, and the Town of Pinedale agrees to ensure satisfaction of all requirements; WHEREAS, the Town of Pinedale assumes full responsible for the Operations and Maintenance of the facilities associated with the Project; WHEREAS, the governing body for the Town of Pinedale agrees to set aside a minimum of $59,687.15 as a line item in its budget for the required twenty-five percent (25%) local match on the project, with an additional $12,000 cash match set aside for preliminary engineering; WHEREAS, the governing body for the Town of Pinedale acknowledges the responsibility of paying for any project cost overruns; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF PINEDALE: 1. That a funding application requesting $179,061.45 in Wyoming Business Council grant funding be submitted to the Wyoming Business Council for consideration to assist in funding for the Pinedale Events and Recreation Infrastructure Project. 2. That Hayley Ruland, Town Engineer, and Maureen Rudnick Town Clerk, are hereby designated as the Project Administrators, of the Town of Pinedale to act on behalf of the governing body on all matters relating to this funding application. This resolution replaces and supersedes Resolution 2018-14, as adopted on August 27, 2018.
