The Pinedale Fine Arts Council (PFAC) is proud to debut a new series of Elder Care Programs Thursday night, October 4th, with "Firsts" – An Evening of Stories Told by Seniors. Beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Rendezvous Pointe the evening will focus on 6 local seniors who will tell personal stories from their past. The theme of the evening, and of the stories, will be "Firsts." Admission is free.
"People in our community carry such wonderful stories. It’s great to have a chance to sit down and appreciate them" states Kari DeWitt, PFAC Director. "We are looking forward to a wonderful intimate evening."
Featured storytellers will include Madeleine Murdock, Deanne Bradley, Barbara Wise, Doc Johnston, Jim Huntley and Tony Gosar.
The Evening of Firsts as well as PFAC’s full slate of Elder Care Programming is made possible by funding from The Laura Jane Musser Fund which was established by the estate of Laura Jane Musser of Little Falls, Minnesota to continue the personal philanthropy which she practiced in her lifetime.
