14th Annual Backcountry Film Festival in Pinedale Feb 9

The Wyoming Wilderness Association will be hosting their 14th Annual Backcountry Film Festival in the Lovatt Room of the Pinedale Library on Saturday, February 9th. They will be showing a collection of winter wildlands films produced each year by the Winter Wildlands Alliance as a celebration of the human-powered outdoor experience.
This years films feature adventure, environment and climate, youth outdoors, ski culture and more. There will be a special film about Adobe Town, a wild landscape in the southern Red Desert. Friends of the Bridger-Teton, a group dedicated to promoting stewardship of the Bridger-Teton National Forest, will also be there to share stewardship opportunities for public lands in the Pinedale area.

Cost is $5/person, kids and furloughed federal employees free. There will be pizza and raffle items sold during the film and beer by Wind River Brewing Company. All proceeds benefit the Wyoming Wilderness Association, whose mission is to protect Wyoming public wildlands. Doors open at 5:30PM, showing starts at 6:00PM.
