Tip Top Search & Rescue will be hosting a public Avalanche Awareness Class on Saturday, January 12, from 9AM-1PM beginning at the Tip Top Search & Rescue building. 138 N. Bridger Ave. in Pinedale. Come receive the latest safety information to help your group pre-plan, learn successful Self-Rescue and Buddy-Rescue techniques, and get great hands-on training with members of Tip Top Search and Rescue. We will end the workshop in the field, so bring your gear if you have it. All accessible from the road - no snow machines needed. There is no cost or sign up for the class, but you will need transportation to the field site. Additional details are at this Facebook page.
