The 4th Annual Pinedale Winter Carnival, hosted by Main Street Pinedale, was a huge success!

The location change of the Cardboard Classic to the Burzlander Park Sledding Hill turned out great, with a record number of spectators coming out to watch all the action and to enjoy the yummy offerings from several local vendors.

The two-day Skijoring event attracted competitors and spectators from all over the county, state, and as far away as Germany! Other fun events from the weekend included the Pancake Breakfast, The Sno-Ball with LIVE music and the crowning of this year’s Winter Carnival King and Queen – Mindi Crabb and Jeff Goetz - the Kids Sno-Cross Race, Cornhole Tournament, and the adult co-ed Hockey Tournament.

The weekend would not have been made possible without the amazing support from our event co-hosts, partners and supporters. These include: The Town of Pinedale - including Mayor Murdock and the Town Council and their amazing Administrative and Public Works staff, The Pinedale Snow Explorer’s and Altitude Offroad Club, Wind River Brewing Company and their talented staff, John Harber & the Bloomfield Subdivision, St. Andrew’s in the Pines Episcopal Church and Randy and Julie Belton, the World Famous Corral Bar, Pinedale Travel and Tourism, the Sublette County Recreation Board, Mike Looney for grooming the Cardboard Classic hill and creating the Skijoring course, the Sublette County Chamber, the Pinedale Lions Club for all their help with parking, a huge thank you to Dave Smith from Dave’s Tech shop for MCing all weekend and for the use of his truck and speakers, Jay Fear, John & Kelli Hyde for all their help making the Skijoring event a success, Will Faust & Richard Raymer from Saratoga Skijoring for help building the course, Dave McKay Teichert, Brent Dean, DVM with the Animal Clinic of Pinedale, Lisa Jones, DVM with Riverside Vet, Tim Ruland, Skijor USA, Kris Holmes, Rachel Essington, Black Mountain Rental, Sublette County Ski & Snowboard Association, Sublette County Emergency Management, Tip Top Search and Rescue, Sublette County EMS, Sublette County Sheriff’s Office, Sublette County Weed and Pest, all the vendors who helped keep everyone’s bellies full – Semper Smoking, Dynomite Donuts, the Chili Sisters, the Pinedale Children’s Discovery Center, – and anyone else that we may have missed who helped make this event possible!

Key Sponsors for the Pinedale Winter Carnival include: Andeavor, Wind River Brewing Company, Pinedale Travel & Tourism, Rocky Mountain Yeti, Jonah Energy, Rocky Mountain Bank, R & R Energy Services, Rocky Mountain Power Sports, and The Great Outdoor Shop. Other sponsors for the event include: Performance Tech, Enviremedial Services, Inc., Sublette Insurance, Nalco Champion, High Mountain Real Estate, Country Home Mortgage, Harber Construction, Jorgensen, Altitude Drug, Bank of Sublette County, Geared UP, Pinedale Animal Clinic, 1st Bank, NAPA, Northern Title, Real Estate of Wyoming, Arnie Brokling Photography, Taylor Construction, Adams Concrete, Summit Precast, Green River Valley Program Jackson Hole Land Trust, First American Title, Bucky’s Outdoors, The Cowboy Shop, D.
