The Pinedale Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest reports smoke visible above Fremont Lake is part of the Skyline Drive Fuels Reduction Project. The 200 acre burn is just west of the White Pine Ski Resort permit area. There was a large column of smoke Wednesday afternoon and will continue into Friday. The Forest Service reports that all is going as planned. See this article for more information.
