The Brooks Lake Lodge, located 30 miles west of Dubois, Wyoming was damaged in an early morning fire on Sunday, July 28th. The Dubois Wyoming Volunteer Fire Department (DVFD) found heavy smoke in the attic of the dining room and bar area of the lodge. The historic building was saved, but there was moderate damage to the roof and ceilings of the dining and sitting rooms. The DVFD estimates damage to be about $300,000. The fire is currently under investigation.
