Avalanche Control Road Closure Advisories for Dec. 13

Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has scheduled a closure of HOBACK CANYON between Milepost 142 and Milepost 163.7 on US 189/191 for Friday December 13th, 2019 at 6 am for avalanche mitigation work. WYDOT has also scheduled a closure of TETON PASS for Friday December 13, 2019 at 3:00 am for avalanche mitigation. Reduced visibility, winter driving conditions, and increasing avalanche hazard may force an earlier closure in both efforts. No parking at the summit of Teton Pass and Coal Creek beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday night will be strictly enforced. Highway travelers and backcountry users are advised to plan accordingly.
