Gardening in Sublette County classes offered

"Gardening in Sublette County" is a series of six gardening classes taught be Arlinda McLaughlin. Participants will learn valuable insights on how to garden in our short growing season. Topics include vegetables, fruits, and flowers that grow well in Sublette County; how to make raised beds and how to garden in containers; how to improve productivity with soil amendments and fertilizers; and how to garden indoors in greenhouses and hoop houses. The classes start Tuesday, February 25, and end Thursday, March 12. All classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the BOCES Education Center. Participants must sign up for the classes at SubletteBoces.com and pay a $40 registration fee. There will be lots of handouts, success stories, and inspiration.
