2020 Big Fish Winter Derby

The Pinedale Lions Club hosted the 2020 Big Fish Winter Derby Saturday and Sunday, March 7th & 8th on Fremont Lake. The ice derby event was based out of Lakeside Lodge.
The two-day fishing event featured over $7,000 in cash and prizes. There was a $1,000 Grand Prize for the largest fish turned in each day. The tournament pays four places each day as well as $100 for the biggest fish each hour and $200 for the biggest rainbow and brown brought in each day. Entry fee was $40. There was also a youth division for anglers under 14 years of age. Youth participants had to be fishing with a licensed adult participant.
There were approximately 250 registered fishermen and women in the derby this year.
