Wyoming business, Cowboy County Distilling, has a surprising new product: hand sanitizer.
The distillery, located a few miles south of Pinedale in southwest Wyoming, is well known locally for being our new hometown maker of craft distilled spirits. Being entrepreneurial, they have turned some of their talents and efforts into making a new product and contributing something much needed in our community right now.
Hand sanitizer has become nearly impossible to find in local stores right now due to the corona virus, COVID-19 pandemic. Local stores say there is no more to be had from their suppliers. Alcohol to make your own sanitizer is also gone from local store shelves and unavailable from online sources. Cowboy County Distilling has come to the rescue. The company is offering 750ml bottles for $35.00 (note updated price due to increases in costs of their supplies - price subject to change from what we have posted in this article).
They are located at 1 Cobblestone Drive, across from the Pinedale airport, approximately six miles south of Pinedale on US 191. They have suspended all tastings and tours for the time being. The hand sanitizer can be purchased in their tasting room. Of course this product is for external use only. Their extended hours are Monday through Friday from 10AM to 2PM and on Saturdays from 10AM to 4PM.
