March 12, 2020 - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has given direction to church members that beginning immediately, all public gatherings of Church members are being temporarily suspended worldwide until further notice. This includes all gatherings, leadership conferences, worship services, stake activities, and more. Where possible, leaders are instructed to conduct any essential leadership meetings via technology. Bishops should counsel with their stake president to determine how to make the sacrament available to members at least once a month. Members are encouraged to care for one another in their ministering efforts.
