Mule Deer are migrating Photo by Cat Urbigkit

Cat Urbigkit posted a great video showing the mule deer migration going on right now along the western slopes of the Wind River Mountain Range. As the snow comes off, the deer move up from their wintering grounds at lower elevations into the Upper Green River Valley. Deer and pronghorn antelope can move very long distances between their winter and summer ranges. Their spring migrations happen in March and April.
