Union Telephone is facilitating free Wi-Fi hotspots for student use as part of their commitment to students and all those they serve. In addition, Union Telephone has been working with school districts to engineer and deploy broadband to school parking lots consistent with each district’s network architecture. To date, Wi-Fi is available for student use outside of Pinedale Middle School and the Pinedale Administrative Building. Also in Sublette County, Wi-Fi is available at LaBarge Elementary School and Big Piney Elementary School. Wide and accessible broadband coverage near schools is conducive to comfortable and productive learning within personal vehicles, which further allows for safe social distancing. Any student or educator in need of Internet access is welcome to use this connectivity free of charge.
