SCSD 1 to expand Free Meals Program to all students

Due to the sudden impact of the COVID -19 virus, SCSD 1 has received a waiver to expand our current meal offerings of breakfast and lunch to all students of our school district.
This service will be available beginning April 8th. It is our hope to help minimize the impact on the families in our school district and ensure that all of our students continue to have meals each day.
Meals will be available for pick up from the Pinedale Elementary School and from Pinedale Middle School. We will be making our best effort to prepare the appropriate amount of meals so the district is asking families to complete an application online. The application has been sent directly to families and is posted on the district’s website and Facebook page.
Families may also fill out a paper application at Pinedale Middle School during our current meal distribution times of 7:45 am – 9:00 am and 5:15 pm – 6:15 pm.
All applications are confidential and will be protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Please be aware that the SCSD 1 foodservice program is experiencing some difficulty in obtaining all food items that we have ordered during any given week, so we ask for patience and understanding as we work to provide this service.
The meal pickup schedule allows for meals to be picked up the evening before or on the morning of each day of the week. Mondays will be a little different in that Monday meals will need to be picked up on Monday morning. All meals will need to be picked up at the designated school at the times specified. Breakfast and lunch meals will be picked up at the same time.

Monday Meals:
7:45 am – 9:00 am
Tuesday - Thursday Meals:
7:45 am – 9:00 am
5:15 pm – 6:15 pm
Friday Meals:
7:45 am – 9:00 am
