Teton County health order extended to April 30th
April 16, 2020
Teton County has extended their public health order restrictions until April 30th. They were set to expire on Friday, April 17th. The county currently has 59 laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 28 additional they are calling Probable cases. The extension means residents in Teton country will need to limit their gatherings to only people within their own household, maintain social distancing of six feet, continue washing hands, using hand sanitizer, covering coughs and sneezes, not shaking hands, as in the original health orders issued earlier. Outdoor recreation is still allowed as long as six-foot social distancing can be maintained with others not of the same household.
Penalty for violation of the order could include a fine of up to $1000 and up to a year imprisonment, or both.
