Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon announced on Wednesday, May 13th new easing of the State Health Orders related to the COVID-19 virus. Those orders expire at midnight on May 14th The State issued new replacement orders that take effect on Friday, May 15th. Teton County has put in place some orders that have been slightly more strict than the state orders. This round, Teton County will not be making modifications to the three State Health orders. They are, however, extending their Recommendation #7 regarding wearing face masks in the county. These orders will be in effect through May 31st, unless rescinded or extended sooner.

MODIFICATIONS TO CURRENT ORDERS, BEGINNING MAY 15:
• Statewide Order #1 modifications pertaining to bars, restaurants, theaters, gyms, child care facilities, K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and trade schools. DETAILS

• Statewide Order #2 modifications will go into effect beginning Friday, May 15, allowing gatherings of up to 25 people. DETAILS

• Statewide Order #3 modifications: Guidance for personal service businesses, including hair and nail salons, barber shops, massage therapy services, tattoo, body art and piercing shops, and cosmetology, electrology, and esthetic services. DETAILS

• No new modifications to Teton County Recommendation #7; the recommendation will continue as is.
RECOMMENDATION FROM the TETON DISTRICT HEALTH OFFICER PERSONAL FACE MASK RECOMMENDATION FOR ALL PEOPLE WITHIN TETON COUNTY, WYOMING RECOMMENDATION #7 All people in Teton County should wear cloth face coverings in public settings where other physical distancing measures may be difficult to maintain (e.g. grocery stores, pharmacies, crowded outdoor spaces such as sidewalks, and workplaces).
