Mountain Men Photo by Dave Bell

Local photographer Dave Bell had the opportunity to work with the Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale to arrange a photo shoot with members of the American Mountain Men Association to stage an authentic re-enactment of a mountain man camp at the confluence of Horse Creek and the Green River, located on the Seven Mile River Ranch near Daniel. Seven experienced men camped at the location portraying as historically accurate a picture as possible of life in a camp during the 1825-1840 period.
