2020-2021 Community Bak Pak Program begins

With school starting the 2020-2021 Community Bak Pak Program is also resuming. This is a program to help alleviate food insecurity for local youth and ensuring kids and families have enough food to eat. Working with school counselors, the Bak Pak Program delivers packs each Friday to kids who might not otherwise have enough food for the weekends. During school year 2019-2020, 312 backpacks were delivered to kids and their families. Organizers anticipate more need this year.
Donation cans have been placed around town in prominent locations in local businesses. Donors may also send a check to:
