Curbside Pickup If you prefer not to enter the libraries at this time, just let them know what items they can check out to you and leave in a marked bag outside the library for your contact-free pickup.
Letters to Santa, Dollhouse Display and Holiday Tree Kids are encouraged to complete their letter to Santa and bring it to his special mailbox inside the Pinedale Library next to the Library's holiday tree. Feel free to snap some selfies with the tree for your holiday card or social media post. The new Dollhouse display can be seen at the circulation desk.
Winter Wonderland Story Walk outside the Pinedale Library Walk in a winter wonderland with lighted ice globes outside the Pinedale Library. Pages from the classic book will be lit for nighttime enjoyment with the whole family. Special thanks to Jim Mitchell from Sublette County Emergency Management for providing sand and much appreciated hard labor to help stabilize the story walk pages through the Wyoming winter weather. The display will be up through the end of January.

Contact Susan Mark, Wyoming State Library Outreach Librarian at (307) 777-5915 for more info. Volunteers needed for Tax Help Program Would you like to help your community in a significant way? Becoming an IRS certified Tax Preparer or Intake Volunteer for the Libraries' upcoming VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program would allow you to make a difference for local working families and seniors by helping them to file their taxes. Trained tax preparers can help taxpayers utilize deductions or tax credits, reduce tax return errors, save time, and can help them to increase their financial stability. This volunteer work could help keep more money in the pockets of Sublette County residents and in our local economy. Adherence to COVID-19 guidelines will maximize volunteer (and taxpayer) safety.
• No tax experience required, just a willingness to learn • Study for online IRS certification course at home • Very flexible and mentally stimulating work using tax preparation software (similar to TurboTax) • Supportive and collaborative volunteer environment • Short-term commitment (upon completion of training) during the tax season, February to April • Prepare taxes at home with minimal physical contact with taxpayers
Learn more about the program and the volunteer work Contact VITA Site Coordinator Mike Henderson with questions: mrhenders@yahoo.com or call (714) 697-5918
