WGFD seeks information on mule deer poaching near Pinedale

PINEDALE, WYOMING - The Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) is seeking any information regarding a mule deer buck that was illegally shot on or around December 15, 2020.
The headless mule deer carcass was recently discovered in a culvert along the Hennick Draw road on the north end of the Pinedale Mesa south of Pinedale. Game and Fish also received a report of someone spotlighting in the area near that same time and believe the two incidents may be related.
Anyone with possible information regarding this poaching incident, or who was in the area and may have noted suspicious vehicles or activities, is encouraged to call the Pinedale Game and Fish office at 1-800-452-9107, the STOP POACHING hotline at 1-877-WGFD-TIP (1-877-943-3847) or the South Pinedale Game Warden, Jordan Kraft, at 307-367-2470. Any information leading to the arrest and conviction may result in a reward of up to $5,000.00.
