Midnight on the Mesa June 18-19

Friends of the Pinedale Aquatic Center (PAC) is hosting an all-night trail relay race on Friday and Saturday, June 18-19, 2021. This is a night-time, 12-hour trail running relay, beginning at midnight on Friday night.
The first runner of each team will take off under a nearly full moon, complete one lap, and hand off to a teammate. The 4 person teams will continue the exchange rotation, with one runner on the course at a time, until noon Saturday. This event is a fundraiser for Friends of PAC, in support of the Pinedale Aquatic Center.
The 4-mile loop will take participants up 375' to the top of Mount Airy for a spectacular view of the Wind River Mountains towering over the Pinedale valley and the expansiveness of the Mesa before winding down two-track and single-track trails back to base camp.
Registration includes primitive camping, stargazing with telescopes and instructors, bonfire, free pancake breakfast, and a custom glow-in-the-dark Nalgene water bottle. The race is limited to the first 40 teams.

This event is operated under a special use permit with the Bureau of Land Management.
