SCUF responds to structure fire in Pinedale
by Sublette County Unified Fire media release
June 2, 2021
On Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at approximately 10:30 PM, Sublette County Unified Fire (SCUF) was dispatched to the report of a building actively on fire off of East Magnolia in Pinedale.
SCUF units from Stations One, Two, Four and Five responded to the fire located within a multi-bay garage building that is shared between the Rendezvous Pointe and the Sublette Center.
On arrival, fire personnel observed upwards of 30-foot flames coming from the building. The fire was quickly knocked down by the first arriving fire units’ coordinated response which contained the fire to three out of the seven bays of the garage and saving the contents of the remaining four bays.
Sublette County Sheriff’s Deputies, Sublette County Emergency Management and Wyoming Highway Patrol Troopers assisted in quickly getting the nearby residents of Aspen Grove temporarily evacuated to safety away from the fire while fire suppression activities were conducted.
The Wyoming State fire Marshall’s on-call fire investigator was contacted to conduct the origin and cause investigation which is still ongoing. There were no injuries reported during this incident.
Authority, Shad Cooper, Sublette County Unified Fire Chief
