BOULDER, WYOMING — The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported a magnitude 3.1 earthquake near Boulder, Wyoming in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 24th around 2:16AM. The earthquake occurred at 2:16 a.m. August 24, about 18 miles northeast of Boulder, according to the USGS website.
