The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported a missing hiker early in the day on Monday, August 16th. The man was last seen in the vicinity of Gannett Peak in the Wind River Mountain Range on Saturday, August 14th 2021. The SCSO released an update later in the evening August 16th that Thor Hallingbye’s body was found during search efforts inside Fremont County. More details will be released in a joint release between Sublette and Fremont County Sheriff’s offices.
