13 flags 13 flags fly in front of Pinedale VFW Post 4801 in honor of slain US servicemen killed in Afghanistan on August 26th.

Michael Edison, Commander, American Legion Post 47, sent this update Tuesday morning (August 31) on the memorial service for U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Rylee J. McCollum of Bondurant, Wyoming who was killed last week. "Funeral services are still being planned. Local and surrounding veteran organizations are coming together to support the McCollum family during these hard times and those in contact with the family say they are planning to have Rylee’s funeral scheduled after the baby arrives in about two weeks."

11 United States Marines, 1 Navy Corpsman and 1 Soldier were killed in an attack near Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan on August 26th.
