Road & Weather update 7:55AM Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021: -15F degrees in Pinedale as of the time of this report. Snow showers in the forecast for Wednesday through Friday, with daytime temperatures only into the teens, then sunshine returns to hail in the new year. Minimal snow accumulation expected at valley level. Nighttime temps will be in the negative numbers all week and through the holiday weekend. Those working and recreating outside should be prepared for frigid temperatures and wind chills. Strong winds in the usual wind corridors of Wyoming. Blowing snow could limit visibility for travelers. Next week after the holiday looks better for traveling. Roads in the Upper Green River Valley are slick and have the usual black ice advisories.
