Starry Night Photo by Dave Bell

Local photographer Dave Bell posted some great photos looking up at the night sky from the view on frozen Fremont Lake on Friday, January 28th. "Friday night was clear and cold and no moon," he said. "As far as the ice goes – if you have never heard frozen ice sing in cold temperatures, you are missing out! It is the most amazing sound and song you can imagine. From big booming cracking to songs like you’d hear from a pod of whales, it is truly unique, beautiful and frightening."
