Teton County is the only county in the state of Wyoming still in the Red Zone for transmission rate for COVID-19, as of March 2, 2022. Interestingly, Teton County has the highest rate of fully vaccinated people, at over 88% of their general population. 96.3% of their adult population age 18 and over is fully vaccinated. 89+% of their kids age 12-17 are fully vaccinated and 52.15% of their children age 5-11 years old are fully vaccinated. The Wyoming Department of Health reports Teton County has had 2,978 breakthrough cases of COVID-19, people who are fully vaccinated yet still catch the virus. Seven of the 23 counties in the state, including Sublette, have dropped into the dark green category, the lowest transmission levels. Sublette County has a 35% overall population fully vaccinated rate.
