COVID Update
The Wyoming Department of Health reported 5 new COVID-19 cases in Sublette County this week. There are currently 3 active cases in Sublette County, with 1,888 recoveries and 27 deaths, for a total of 1,918 cases since the pandemic began.

Sublette County moved down to the Dark Green – the lowest transmission zone for community spread, reflecting the continuing decrease in case counts in the past two weeks (February 17 - March 2). Most of the state is scattered across lower transmission zones with the exception of Teton County, which remains in the red/high transmission zone.

With the CDC and the State of Wyoming moving into more of an endemic phase for all things COVID, both agencies are changing how they track and issue reports. With less data available, Sublette County Public Health will also be dialing back our reporting. We will post video updates on Facebook when and if there is new information that needs to be shared. As long as numbers stay low and no new variants emerge, this written briefing will be sent out once or twice a month. Our next scheduled written briefing will be Friday, March 25th.

We thank you all for your support of Public Health during the pandemic. It’s been a wild ride for all of us and we are looking forward to supporting your health in more of a traditional fashion moving forward. As always, please call Public Health at 307-367-2157--we are available to answer any questions and will continue to provide new information as COVID-19 guidance changes.
