Weather and Travel update, Thursday, February 16, 2023,
8:00AM: -22F in Pinedale at the time of this report. Bitter
cold nighttime temperatures will continue tonight and Friday
night, to -10F. Daytime should be sunny and around +20F for
the Upper Green River Valley. Sunny until Sunday when snow
showers expected to return for the long holiday weekend into
early next week. Most major roads are open this morning.
Watch for wildlife on roadways; elk between Farson and
Pinedale, other big game between LaBarge and Daniel; critters
are having trouble getting around in the deep snow. As
always, watch for black ice on roads, especially on bridges.
If traveling, monitor road reports and possibly allow more
time to reach your destination. Carry emergency supplies in
