EMS Mass Casualty Drill

Sublette County EMS will be holding a Mass Casualty Incident drill on Saturday, April 29th in Pinedale. The drill is designed to give EMT students practice assessing and treating patients in a multiple casualty situation. Makeup is used to create simulated injuries for a mass shooting scenario. Students then practice sorting the simulated victims by severity of injury, treating injuries, and transporting them to a simulated hospital.

Volunteers are needed who are willing to act as simulated patients or bystanders for this exercise. There will be a morning and afternoon shift. The morning shift from 8AM to noon is training for EMT students. The afternoon shift from 1-5PM will be for many of the first responders from Sublette County. Lunch will be provided for any volunteer who chooses to help for the whole day. See poster for sign-up information.
