Western Canadian Wheelwrights annual meeting at Museum of the Mountain Man August 17
Public invited to attend demonstrations

The Western Canadian Wheelwright’s Association (WCWA) will hold their Annual General Meeting at the Museum of the Mountain Man, Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 9 am – 3 pm and Sunday, August 18, from 9 am to 1 pm. The public is invited to see live demonstrations of how wheelwrights make wooden wheels and apply tires to the wheels.
The Museum of the Mountain Man, 700 East Hennick Street, Pinedale, Wyoming, will host the WCWA for their annual meeting. The Museum will display their historic collection of horse drawn vehicles under a huge tent, while WCWA wheelwrights demonstrate their craft on the Museum’s outdoor patio and restore wheels on one of the Museum’s oldest buggies. Join us for this free event!
WCWA is a non-profit society set up to promote the skills of the carriage trade. The purpose is to promote the craft of wheelwrighting. WCWA membership is available to anyone worldwide.
