The Pinedale Rifle and Pistol Club wishes to remind local gun enthusiasts of the new Zero Tolerance Ban that recently went into effect regarding the consumption or ingestion of alcohol and/or drugs at county-owned shooting sports facilities.

The new resolution was passed in late December, 2006. It applies to all shooting sports facilities on county owned lands including those being used by the Pinedale Rifle and Pistol Club, Pinedale Sporting Clays Inc, and the Big Piney Gun Club. The alcohol/drug ban applies to persons who actually discharge weapons at the shooting ranges and to friends and guests who do not discharge weapons and are only spectators.

The ban “ensures the safety of all persons on said premises and further endorses the principle that there should not be the presence of alcohol or drugs on premises where rifles and pistols are present and/or being discharged.”
