Below are upcoming events from the Pinedale Fine Arts Council.

Wednesday, February 27th: Latin music and Dance
Rendezvous Pointe in Pinedale, 7:00 PM.
Join Dancer’s Workshop instructor, Manny Sanchez, for a fun evening of Latin music and dance. Admission is free.

Thursday, March 6th: Diane Ferlatte “Storyteller”
Lovatt Room at the Pinedale Library, 7:00 PM
Have a latté with Ferlatte in our informal Purple Moose Coffeehouse setting. Diane is an award winning storyteller who was also nominated for a Grammy this year for her CD “Wickety Whack, Brer Rabbit is Back.” General Admission ~ $5.00.

Friday, March 7: Terry Tempest Williams to host “Weather Reports”
There will be a reading by Williams and University of Wyoming students. Community members will have the opportunity to bear witness to what it means to live in Pinedale. Admission is free. “She is a marvelous writer and an incredible teacher. She worked in our elementary school many years ago and one never forgets Terry, ‘ said Arlinda McLaughlin, Pinedale Elementary School.

Saturday, March 8: Writing Workshop, ‘The Stories That Sustain Us’
The workshop will be an exploration of story drawing on new materials. In the conference room of the Sublette County Visitors Center in Pinedale, 9 AM – 11:30 AM.

Film Fest March 1st and 8th
Saturday, March 1st: “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.” Robert Ford, who's idolized Jesse James since childhood, tries hard to join the reforming gang of the Missouri outlaw, but gradually becomes resentful of the bandit leader. 7:00 PM in the Pinedale library’s Lovatt Room. Admission is free.

Saturday, March 8th: “The Lives of Others” 7 PM in the Pinedale library’s Lovatt Room. In 1984 East Berlin, an agent of the secret police, conducting surveillance on a writer and his lover, finds himself becoming increasingly absorbed by their lives. Admission is free.
