Green River Lakes Lodge Open House

The Pinedale Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest hosted an Open House on Saturday, June 23rd to celebrate the opening of the Green River Lakes Lodge as a facility that becomes a part of the U.S. Forest Service’s public cabin rental program. The Green River Lakes Lodge, which was once part of the historic GP Bar Guest Ranch, hasn’t been open to the public for over 50 years. It is located on the shoreline of Green River Lake, with a magnificent view of the lake and Square Top Mountain. The lodge has been cleaned up and members of the Sublette County Historic Preservation Board compiled historical information and created photo displays about the GP Bar Guest Ranch which have been placed throughout the cabin.
