Memorial Day ceremonies were held at the Veterans Memorial in the American Legion Park and at the Pinedale Cemetery on Monday, May 27th. The American Legion Post held a service at the Veterans Memorial in the American Legion Park to lay a Memorial wreath. Later in the morning, the Pinedale VFW Post 4801 hosted Memorial Day Service at the Pinedale Cemetery. The ceremonies were led by Commander Michael Edison. Parker Donaldson had the honor of singing the National anthem at both services. Jim Washum played taps on the trumpet. Four girls from the Noble family laid memorial bouquets of flowers at the cannon. The Honor Guard fired a three volley rifle salute while the flag was at half staff. A luncheon followed at the VFW building on Pine Street.
