PFAC Cruising Main Street

Due to the health safety measures from the coronavirus pandemic, the Pinedale Fine Arts Council has had to cancel their annual Kentucky Derby fundraiser. So they’ve decided to take it to the streets! They are hosting a PFAC Cruising Derby on Friday, April 24th. They invite everyone to dress up, wear your Derby hat and come on out to cruise Pine Street in downtown Pinedale. They will have popcorn for donation on Pine Street. KFZE 104.3 FM Radio will be playing all your favorite cruisin' tunes, with a special appearance by Jason Tyler Burton singing "My Old Kentucky Home". There will be trophies for Best Hat, Best Dressed and Best Car (PFAC already had them made and dated 2020 - so they figured they might as well award them!)

They ask that everyone be sure to follow social distancing guidelines, and if you pull over please leave 6 feet between cars.

If you need a hat, Pinedale Arts and Crafts in open Tuesdays and Thursday. She has feathers, hats, sparkle and more. Available to order either online or over the phone and pick up curbside. Order online or call 502-235-8800.

PFAC will be posting Kentucky Derby activities on their website and Facebook every day this week. Complete as many activities as you can from April 21- May 2 and be entered to win prizes. One raffle entry for each activity - enter as many times as you like.

The drawing will be Saturday, May 2 at 4pm (the time the actual Kentucky Derby should have started). Take a selfie and post to the PFAC Facebook page or email them at kari@pinedalefinearts.com and be entered into a raffle.

Prizes include: pair of PFAC season tickets for next year. A 7lb brisket. A pair of tickets to the PFAC Kentucky Derby 2021.
