The Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming reopened to the public on Thursday, May 7th. "With guidance from our state and county health departments and Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon, we are looking forward to once again safely welcoming visitors and continuing our mission of connecting people to the stories of the American West," they said in an email release on May 4th.

As Wyoming carefully opens up in the easing of the coronavirus pandemic, the Center said their leadership has been working on a detailed plan to provide for expanded protocols that ensure the cleanliness of their buildings and the safety of their guests and staff. This plan was reviewed and approved by the Park County Health Department. They said their safety plan not only meets, but exceeds, their requirements. The Center is one of the first museums to open in the state in the wake of the nation-wide shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Center is open daily during the summer season from May to mid-September from 8:00AM to 6:00PM. Admission price includes entry to the Center for two consecutive days. Buffalo Bill Center of the West members enjoy free admission.
