A wildfire began Sunday afternoon, September 6th, near Swinging Bridge south of Jackson. Residents in the Henry's Road, Game Creek, Squaw Creek, and Porcupine Creek subdivisions are in GO! Stage and asked to evacuate. Staging for those evacuated will be available at the Munger Mountain Elementary School parking lot. No shelter has been set up at this time, but any evacuees needing assistance may call the Red Cross at 307-222-8272. Firefighters are on scene.
