• Mixed Media Annual Art Exhibit,
Pinedale Library Lovatt Room. Featuring many local artists including Lynn Thomas, Ruth Rawhouser, Kay Meeks, Lois Decker, Melita Snow, Charmian McLellan, Sandy Brewer and more. Guest artists include Greg McHuron, Kay Northup and Sue Sommers. See fresh new work and enjoy "Wall of the Wild," examples of more spontaneous, process-oriented paintings by adventurous Mixed Media members. Don't miss Wordband Saturday, Nov. 1, 2 - 5 pm, a great kick-off for the show. Meet the artists and sip champagne at the Gala reception Friday, Nov. 21, 4 - 8 pm. Live music by Kevin Roche and wonderful refreshments. Meet the artists!

SAT., NOVEMBER 1
• Wordband,
2 - 5 pm, Pinedale Library Lovatt Room. Free program sponsored by the Sublette County Artists' Guild, in conjunction with the opening of the Mixed Media Annual Art Exhibit. Wordband consists of 3 artists from Casper (Jim Gaither, Stephanie Painter, and George Vlastos) who perform choral poetry. They present poems written for three voices, poems written by well-known poets scripted for three voices, and pieces developed around unusual sources such as newspaper articles. They also perform a sampling of their own work. Enjoy poetry performed like you've never seen or heard it before! This innovative and fun program is funded in part by the Wyoming Arts Council.

McKenzie Hartwig Take a Risk Classic Volleyball Tournament, Starts 9 am Middle School Gym. Play, donate a door prize or come watch the fun! Men's league and women's league. Proceeds go into a fund that helps with scholarships and getting high school seniors immunized against bacterial meningitis, a deadly and easily preventable illness that can strike down young college students.
