• Blood Draw for Pinedale Health Fair,
6:30 - 8:30 pm, Pinedale Medical Clinic. Call the Public Health office at 307-367-2157 or 307-276-3575 to arrange your time. 12-hour fast required. Water and regular prescribed medications okay. Test results available at Health Fair on Saturday, Sept. 27 or at the Public Health office. You must pick up your own results due to new privacy laws. Fees: Chemscreen $22, Prostatic Specific Antigen $24, Complete Blood Count $16.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 11 & FRIDAY, SEPT. 12
• Sublette BOCES First Aid and CPR Classes,
designed to give individuals in the workplace skills to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until EMTs arrive. First Aid taught Thursday by Sue Wadsworth, 7 - 9 pm, CPR taught Friday by Lesta Winer, 6 - 10 pm. Take one or both classes for just $20. Location: Pinedale Elementary Library. 9 am - 1 pm at the Wrangler Gym/Cafeteria. Learn about your blood pressure, bone density, the percent of fat in your body! Sound scary? Well, at least it's free and you can pick up your blood draw results at the same time. Prevent possible medical problems down the road with the knowledge you gain.
• Project Life Print at the Health Fair, 9 am - 1 pm at the Wrangler Gym/Cafeteria. Parents of children under 18 can bring their child/ren to this free service, where a DNA sample will be collected from the inside of each child's cheek. The sample is stored in a simple kit for parents to take home. The procedure is fast and painless. The kit can provide important information to law enforcement to help identify and recover the child if s/he is ever lost. No information is collected; this is just a service for parents and their children. Sponsored by the Masons of Wyoming and the Wyoming Peace Officers Association.
