• Pinedale Stage Stop of the International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race (IPSSSDR),
starts 9 a.m. at the American Legion Park. Mushers race to the Cora Oval Track and back. Fajitas and chili for lunch at the start/finish line. Mushers will proceed to Jackson in the afternoon.
• Dorene Ludwig presents "The Crossing," a free performance for senior citizens of Sublette County and their families, 3:30 p.m. at Sublette Center Heritage Room. Appropriate for audiences age 10 and above. Dramatic reading covers the experiences of pioneer women making the journey from the Midwest to the West during the 1800s, taken from diaries, journals and other accounts. Refreshments served. Sponsored by the Pinedale Fine Arts Council.

Bowlers obtain pledges for Bowl for Kids Fundraiser, benefit for the Learning Center, Saturday, Feb. 1 at Pinedale Entertainment Center. Pledges raise funds for the Learning Center. 2 divisions: ages 3-5 and 6-9. The child who raises the most money wins a 1999 Arctic Cat Kitty Kat donated by Sno-Palace. Also raffle drawing for 2003 Polaris Indy 120XC SP child's snowmobile, donated by Bucky's Outdoors. Drawing takes place Feb. 1. Tickets available at Pinedale and Big Piney Learning Centers.
